Storage Bed Guide

We offer three different bed base styles with genuinely different storage approaches — here's how to tell which one actually suits your room.

Standard Bed Base

No built-in storage a strong, no-frills foundation. The right choice if storage isn't a priority, or if you're using the space under your bed for something else (like underbed boxes you already own).

Drawer Bed Base

Two built-in drawers, one on either side of the base, available in Shallow or Deep drawer depth. Good for everyday items you want easy access to — folded clothing, linen, or things you reach for often — since the drawers pull straight out from the side.

Gas-Lift Storage Bed Base

The platform lifts on a gas-strut mechanism to reveal a full storage compartment underneath the entire mattress — significantly more storage volume than drawers, but accessed by lifting the mattress rather than pulling out a drawer. Better suited to items you don't need daily access to — seasonal bedding, suitcases, or bulkier items.
